Specifications

Download the PSD-file displaying which areas the ads are supposed to go. The PSD file also serves as a basis for creating your advert as A1, A2, B, C, Flash A, Flash B are divided into separate layers.

A1 image 679 x 73 pixels
The Telkku.com logo must remain in it's place. Logo may be slightly edited (colors, something small drawn on top etc.) but it must remain recognizable. The corner of the navigation bar must be rounded in the same way as in the default navigation bar.

A2 image 567 x 16 pixels (optional)
Part of the branding can be on this area. No more than half of the area may be used, the rest must remain white. This image is positioned on top of A1 so that their right sides align.

B Image 1 x 73 pixels
This image will be stretched and used as a background for area.

C Image 1 x 32 pixels
This image will be stretched and used as a background for area. The colors of the background image and text must be specified so that the text is easily readable and that the service's usability doesn't suffer.

An additional flash-element may also be added to navigation bar. It's size and location can be chosen from the options specified below. You may choose ONE of the following:

Flash A 150 x 73 pixels
Location can be chosen anywhere on the area A1, as long as flash doesn't obstruct Telkku.com logo.
OR
Flash B 300 x 43 pixels
Location is the lower left corner of area B.

Required material

3-4 images in jpg, gif or png.
Flash-element (optional)
Target URL for flash
Backup image for swf in jpg, gif or png (optional)

Note: Due to deep integration with Telkku.com, external ad systems cannot be used with this format.

General instructions for ads

Page opened up by ad must open into a new window.
The advertisement must not generate any sound unless the user clicks it first.
Expanding advertisements are not allowed.
The advertisement must not use an excessive amount of CPU capacity.
(Flash-animations often do.)
It is recommended to deliver a jpg, png or gif version of a flash advertisement.

The limitation of advertisement's size in kilobytes does not include a possible video component. The video component must not launch automatically. Maximum size for video component is 8000 kB.

If statistics of clicks are wanted, the following example of clickTAG must be used in the link of the advertisement:
